Neil O’Brien welcomes investment in local hospitals

Hospitals in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland will benefit from a share of £325 million in new capital investment for local NHS projects across the country.  Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland will receive £30m-50m to help the NHS modernise and transform care for patients locally.

Unemployment now the lowest since 1975

New figures out today show that unemployment is the lowest it has been since 1975 - and employment is at a record high.

Meanwhile Harborough, Oadby and Wigston is among the constituencies with the lowest unemployment rates in the whole country.
