Local MP Neil O’Brien has launched a competition for primary-aged children in Harborough, Oadby, and Wigston to mark the King’s Coronation.

Neil O’Brien said:

“I welcome the measures set out in today’s Autumn Statement. It will ensure economic stability, protect the NHS, and cut inflation.

Neil O'Brien, MP for Harborough, Oadby & Wigston, attended the official unveiling ceremony of the the Sikh War Memorial statue in Leicester, on the 30th October 2022.

During the visit Neil was given a tour of the Care Home, followed by the opportunity to meet some of the residents and members of staff.

Neil O'Brien, MP for Harborough, Oadby & Wigston, met with a number of residents on Bideford Close, to discuss a planning application for 15 new houses on Bideford Close, immediately outside Tythorn Field Primary School in Wigston.

The event was organised by the Oadby & Wigston Hindu Association, with hundreds in attendance from across the constituency and beyond.

It’s difficult to find the words to do justice to someone who has served their country as dutifully and diligently as Queen Elizabeth II, having become Queen in 1952.

Neil O'Brien MP hosted a visiting group of constituents in Parliament, on Monday 5th Sept.

The group included constituents from across Harborough, Oadby, Wigston & South Wigston.

As you may be aware, the plans for a new prison next to the existing HMP Gartree were unanimously rejected by local Councillors on the Harborough District Council (HDC) Planning Committee.
