Neil O'Brien, MP for Harborough, Oadby & Wigston is encouraging constituents to support the 'eat out to help out' scheme across the constituency.

Neil O'Brien, MP for Harborough, Oadby & Wigston visited reopened shopping parades across the Borough on Saturday 1st August, the first day after the local lockdown restrictions were lifted for Oadby, Wigston and South Wigston.

To keep constituents informed on the latest developments concerning the Leicester lockdown (affecting Oadby, Wigston and South Wigston) - I have been sharing updates via my social media channels.

On the 29th June 2020, the Health Secretary confirmed a local lockdown for Leicester City, which also included some surrounding areas of Leicestershire County. This also includes Oadby, Wigston and South Wigston.

Neil O’Brien, MP for Harborough, has supported the campaign to shop local, as shops have continued to reopen across the country.

As many non-essential retailers have now been able to open their doors, Neil visited a number of these to hear more about their reopening experience.

Harborough MP Neil O’Brien and Great Glen councillors James Hallam and Rani Mahal are demanding Miller Homes re-open a key road in Great Glen as soon as possible.
