Plans approved at Nautical William site

Neil at the site

Great news for Wigston as plans for 14 affordable homes on the old Nautical William pub site have finally been approved.

I’ve been pushing Oadby and Wigston Council to make a decision on this after the site was left a derelict eyesore for far too long, causing problems for local residents.

Now the permission is in place, the developers can finally get on with the work.

This is exactly the kind of site we should be bringing back into use, delivering much-needed affordable homes for local people.

I look forward to seeing work get underway!
