On Friday the 22 September, Neil O’Brien, MP for Harborough, Oadby and Wigston attended the Navratri Festival in Leicester. Navaratri is a nine night festival that honours the Mother Goddess in all her manifestations. It's a festival full of worship and dance. The festival culminates with the victory of good over evil, on the tenth day.
Neil O’Brien said: “It was a pleasure to join some of my constituents to celebrate Navratri. I can't pretend to have fully mastered the dancing but enjoyed it a lot. And well done to the organisers Music Arts for raising lots of money for Rainbows and other good causes at the same time.”
