To keep constituents informed on the latest developments concerning the Leicester lockdown (affecting Oadby, Wigston and South Wigston) - I have been sharing updates via my social media channels.

Neil supports 'shop local' campaign

Neil O’Brien, MP for Harborough, has supported the campaign to shop local, as shops have continued to reopen across the country.

As many non-essential retailers have now been able to open their doors, Neil visited a number of these to hear more about their reopening experience.

I totally understand the frustration people feel – in our area there has been a high level of compliance with lockdown which has helped control the virus. Like everyone else I have been unable to see my parents, while they haven’t been able to see their grandchildren.
