For too long, Leicestershire hasn't received a fair share of funding compared to other parts of the Country.

The funding formula is not transparent and is out of date.

Through working closely with Leicestershire County Council and fellow County MPs, we have been making the case strongly to both No.10 and The Treasury.

Following a long period of making the case, the Government are working on a new funding formula.

I have met with ministers and officials and asked questions in the House of Commons to make sure the new formula really changes things and ensures Leicestershire gets its fair share.
